Industry Leadership
Leading the Nation to a Smarter Energy Future
Developing the smart grid is a complex undertaking. It relies on collaboration among utilities, policymakers, technology manufacturers, standards organizations, universities, national labs and research institutes. We are a founding member of most major smart grid organizations and our efforts have been recognized for leadership by the U.S. Department of Energy and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
More than 100 utilities, both domestic and foreign, have turned to us for best practices on smart grid concepts like smart meters, synchrophasor measurement, electric vehicle integration, energy storage and integrating renewable energy.
