College Scholarships

A strong education lays the groundwork for lifelong success in a competitive job market. Edison is committed to helping ensure that Southern California students gain the academic and technical skills they need to succeed, particularly in the areas of math, science, engineering and technology.

Edison Scholars

The Edison Scholars program supports the study of math, physics, chemistry, engineering, materials science, computer science or information systems with scholarships up to $10,000. The program is funded by Edison International, the parent company of Southern California Edison, and not by utility customers.

Successful applicants must be high school seniors who demonstrate potential for successful college careers and financial need. They must plan to enroll in full-time study in an eligible field. Dependents of Edison International employees or retirees are not eligible. Learn more about eligibility requirements, and find application instructions.

Transfer Scholarships

In Southern California, community colleges are a gateway to higher education for many underserved students. After completing study at community colleges, students may transfer to University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) institutions in pursuit of bachelor's degrees and beyond. Edison provides scholarships to help transfer students from underserved communities continue the study of math, science, engineering and technology.

The program is funded by Edison International, the parent company of Southern California Edison, and not by utility customers. More information and how to apply.
